So, what exactly is blue light doing?

So, what exactly is blue light doing?

You may just be scrolling away on social media or writing an email to your boss, but what you may not realize is that those devices are emitting harmful blue light, which is damaging your skin.  Believe it or not our screen time averages around 12 hours per day across all of our devices.  Studies have shown that blue light, also known as HEV light, has the ability to penetrate deeper into the skin than both UVA and UVB light.  That means blue light can penetrate all the way to the dermis layer of our skin, which affects collagen and elastin production, yikes.

So what does this mean?  It means that the short wave length of blue light has been found to increase the oxidation of cells found in the skin.  This oxidation can lead to signs of aging such as wrinkles and fine lines.  The Anti-Tech Serum creates a protective barrier to reduce the amount of blue light that is absorbed into the skin and uses a combination of powerful active ingredients to start repairing any damage that has occurred.
